If you use Ilim Lab on behalf of a school, organization, or partner, you represent that you have authority to bind that institution to these Terms or the applicable written agreement.
Who Operates the Platform
Ilim Lab was created by Bektur Murzaliev and is owned by Bektur Murzaliev personally.
Public legal and platform questions may be directed to info@ilimlab.ai unless a different contact is provided in a separate written agreement.
What Ilim Lab Is
Ilim Lab is an educational platform that can include interactive simulations, virtual labs, lesson-support materials, visual interfaces, software tools, content libraries, datasets, documentation, and related materials for educational use.
Some parts of the platform may be available publicly, while other parts may be available only through accounts, pilots, demonstrations, institutional authorization, or separate licensing arrangements.
License, Not Sale
Access to Ilim Lab is provided on a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable basis. Except where a separate written agreement states otherwise, your right to use the platform is a license only.
No sale of software, content, simulations, or intellectual property occurs through access to the website, a demo, a pilot, an institutional rollout, or any related service.
Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to Ilim Lab remain with Bektur Murzaliev. This includes all intellectual property rights in the platform and its related materials.
Protected materials include, without limitation, software, source code, object code, simulations, virtual labs, interactive logic, visual assets, graphics, animations, user interface designs, text, lesson materials, databases, data structures, branding, names, logos, updates, derivative revisions made by Ilim Lab, and documentation.
Permitted Use
You may use Ilim Lab only for personal learning, educational use, and institutionally authorized use that stays within the access methods and scope made available by Ilim Lab.
You must use the platform in a lawful manner, keep applicable notices intact, and comply with any written pilot, evaluation, classroom, school, partner, or licensing terms that apply to your access.
Restrictions
Unless separately authorized in writing by Bektur Murzaliev or by a signed agreement expressly permitting the activity, you may not:
- copy, reproduce, republish, archive, or redistribute the platform or its content outside ordinary permitted educational use
- resell, sublicense, rent, lease, assign, or white-label Ilim Lab or any part of it
- scrape, harvest, crawl, mirror, or systematically extract platform content, metadata, simulation outputs, or other materials
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code, underlying models, or protected technical methods
- bypass access controls, technical restrictions, account limits, watermarking, or other platform-protection measures
- remove, hide, alter, or obscure branding, copyright notices, attribution, or other proprietary notices
- embed simulations through iframes, wrappers, or other third-party site placements without prior written authorization
- access or use any API, integration point, feed, export path, or partner workflow that has not been expressly authorized
- create derivative commercial products, services, or content libraries based on Ilim Lab simulations, materials, or substantial platform content
Embedding, Integrations, and Partner-Platform Use
Embedding Ilim Lab simulations on third-party websites, using iframe or wrapper-based delivery, connecting the platform to third-party systems, or enabling partner-platform distribution requires prior written authorization or a separate agreement.
Any approved integration, embedding, or distribution arrangement remains limited to the scope expressly granted in writing and does not transfer ownership of Ilim Lab or its underlying intellectual property.
Accounts and Access
Access to some features may depend on user accounts, classroom access codes, pilot credentials, demo access, licensed access, or institutional authorization.
Ilim Lab may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if there is misuse, unauthorized sharing, security risk, non-payment under an applicable agreement, or other conduct that violates these Terms or a separate written agreement.
Pilot and Evaluation Access
Pilot, demo, proof-of-concept, or evaluation access is temporary, limited, and provided only for assessment of the platform. It does not transfer ownership, create exclusivity, or grant any right to continue use beyond the approved period or scope.
Pilot or evaluation access does not create joint ownership, joint development rights, or any obligation for Ilim Lab to implement requested features, workflows, or product changes.
Feedback from schools, educators, evaluators, or partners may inform future development, but the platform and all related intellectual property remain owned by Bektur Murzaliev.
Feedback and Suggestions
If you provide ideas, comments, recommendations, feature requests, implementation suggestions, or other feedback about Ilim Lab, Ilim Lab may use that feedback to improve the platform without restriction unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
Providing feedback does not transfer ownership of Ilim Lab to the feedback provider, and no compensation is owed for feedback unless expressly agreed in writing.
Third-Party Links and Services
Ilim Lab may reference or link to third-party websites, services, or resources for convenience. Ilim Lab does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their content, security, availability, or terms.
Use of third-party resources is at your own risk and remains subject to the terms and privacy practices of those third parties.
Availability and No Warranty
Ilim Lab may update, improve, suspend, replace, or discontinue parts of the website or platform at any time. Availability may vary, and access can be interrupted for maintenance, upgrades, technical issues, or partner-related changes.
Ilim Lab is an educational tool and does not replace teacher supervision, formal assessment, laboratory safety procedures, or professional advice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the public website and platform are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without a promise of uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular institutional workflow.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ilim Lab and Bektur Murzaliev will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, business, goodwill, or anticipated savings arising out of or related to use of, inability to use, or reliance on the platform.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to direct damages that were reasonably foreseeable in light of the relevant circumstances and any applicable written agreement.
Termination
Ilim Lab may suspend or terminate access immediately if these Terms are violated, if access is used outside the approved scope, if credentials are shared improperly, or if continued access creates legal, security, or operational risk.
Upon termination or expiration of access, your license ends and you must stop using protected materials except to the extent continued retention is expressly allowed by written agreement or applicable law.
Language Versions
These Terms may be made available in more than one language for convenience.
If there is any inconsistency between language versions, the English version controls unless a separate written agreement expressly states otherwise.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
If a separate written agreement applies to your school, institution, or partnership, that agreement may specify governing law, jurisdiction, or dispute forum.
If no separate written agreement applies, any dispute relating to these Terms or use of Ilim Lab will be addressed in the forum that is legally appropriate for the platform operator, subject to any mandatory law that applies.
Contact
For legal questions about these Terms, contact info@ilimlab.ai.
If a separate written agreement designates a different legal contact for your institution or partnership, use the contact stated in that agreement.
